## Model

Each kit is a one-time license. Conversion is metered in Alchemist tokens: the kit includes an allowance, and beyond it you pay as you go. No subscription, no renewal, no monthly fee. Only the Converter is metered; the Code Analyzer, Log Analyzer and Metascope run without usage limits.

What is an Alchemist token? Alchemist's own code metric, calculated by the Code Analyzer from your SAS assets. It is **not an LLM token**.

1. Register and get a free trial license.
2. Run the Code Analyzer on your SAS assets: it reports the token count.
3. Put that count into the price calculator in your Alchemist account.

### What is an Alchemist token?

An Alchemist token is Alchemist's own code metric, calculated by the Code Analyzer from your SAS assets. It is not an LLM token. ### Is the trial free, and what does it include?

Yes. Registration gives you a free trial license with the Code Analyzer's aggregated dashboard. Run it on any number of SAS assets, with no time limit and no usage limit. The dashboard shows a token estimate for your scope and its structure and complexity. It does not include the Converter or the full Analyzer detail.

### Do I need T1A services to use Alchemist?

No. The Assessment Kit and the Conversion Kit work standalone: sign up, download, activate the license and run, without talking to anyone. The Full Kit adds the end-to-end framework and other tooling that needs enablement and configuration for your environment. It therefore comes with T1A services, and is recommended only for migrations with hundreds of assets.

### How do I get an exact figure for my estate?

Register, run the free Code Analyzer on your own SAS assets, and read the token count off its dashboard. The price calculator in your Alchemist account turns that count into a license figure for the kit you choose. You do it yourself, before any sales conversation; T1A can then confirm the recommended kit if you want a second opinion.
