Partner with Alchemist on SAS migrations
Systems integrators and consultancies run client SAS migrations with Alchemist, the SAS‑to‑cloud migration acceleration toolkit by T1A. Find the partners who already deliver with it here, or see how to partner with us or bring a partner you trust. This page explains how it works and what it includes.
Who delivers Alchemist migrations today?
Alchemist is self-serve for the Assessment and Conversion Kits. For managed delivery at scale, or a Full Kit migration, these partners run Alchemist for you.
T1A
Maker of Alchemist · worldwideT1A builds Alchemist and has run SAS migrations with it since 2022. Its history is in SAS itself: years as a SAS Platinum and Gold partner, before the move to cloud platforms. Today it is certified and partnered on Databricks, Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric. Its experts run migrations end to end, or enable your team to run the migration flow itself.
Dufrain
Data consultancy · United KingdomDufrain partnered with T1A in August 2026. Together they deliver SAS migrations with Alchemist for organizations in financial services, insurance and other regulated sectors. Dufrain brings the delivery side: data migration, engineering, governance and operational adoption.
Bring your own partner
Systems integrators and consultanciesYour regional partner delivers the migration with Alchemist and expert support from T1A. We provide the tools and share our expertise.
Which partnership fits you?
Three ways to work with us, depending on whether you run the migration, introduce the client, or build the platform the code lands on. Terms are agreed with each partner: tell us what you have in mind and we will set them up together.
How does partner-led delivery work?
Alchemist does the analysis and the conversion. Your team owns the delivery: the plan, the client, validation, deployment and go-live.
Scope
Run the Code Analyzer on the client's SAS code. Its dashboard gives a token estimate for the scope, its structure and its complexity, before the proposal goes out. T1A helps you estimate the scope and reviews the analysis results with you.
How a SAS code assessment worksCollaboration model
We discuss which T1A services you may need on top of the Alchemist toolkit, from the toolkit alone to service packages or a custom request. You or your client decide what is needed.
Client license
Each client engagement gets its own contract. We issue license keys for the client's environment, used by both your team and the client.
Delivery
Your engineers convert, validate and deploy with Alchemist. T1A supports them on the toolkit and, on Full Kit migrations, enables the end‑to‑end migration flow.
What does your team get to work with?
The same toolkit T1A uses on its own migrations, and the people who build it.
Free Code Analyzer dashboard
Runs on any number of SAS assets with no time or usage limit, so a first scope costs nothing to measure.
Deterministic Code Converter
SAS Base scripts, Enterprise Guide projects and DI jobs to PySpark for Databricks, Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric. Same input, same output, every run; the LLM step is an optional fallback, off by default.
Automation for large estates
The Full Kit adds the E2E Migration Framework for conversion, validation and deployment at scale, 100+ assets. It comes with T1A migration enablement.
Support from the team that builds it
T1A has run SAS migrations with Alchemist since 2022. Your engineers get expert support on the toolkit, the documentation and the video guides.

Which practices is the partnership built for?
Large integrators and regional consultancies alike. What matters is a client relationship and a gap Alchemist fills.
Cloud data practices adding SAS
You already migrate clients to Databricks, Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric, and SAS keeps coming up. Alchemist reads SAS code and the metadata of EG projects and DI jobs, so your engineers start from converted PySpark.
Delivery teams without an accelerator
Building and maintaining your own SAS converter is a product of its own. Alchemist brings the tooling, with the team that builds it behind your proposal. Building or using agents for migration? Integrate Alchemist into your agentic flow to save time and cost.
SAS practices moving to the cloud
You know your clients' SAS estates and the people who run them. Alchemist gives that knowledge a deterministic path to PySpark on all three platforms.
Regional consultancies
Your local presence and language are what clients choose you for. Alchemist and T1A add the SAS migration tooling and experience behind them.
What does Alchemist leave to your team?
Alchemist automates much of the migration routine: analysis, conversion and validation. Final decisions and actions stay with your team and the client.
- Analysis
- Conversion
- Automation
- 01
Data enablement
Getting data into the target platform: activating source systems and setting up ingestion. Alchemist converts code and pipeline logic, not data.
- 02
Platform enablement and configuration
Setting up and configuring the target platform, Databricks, Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric, so the converted code has somewhere to run.
- 03
Validation, deployment and go-live
Alchemist cross-validates technically, on the same data samples. Your team adds the rest: resolving discrepancies, human and business validation, final production deployment, consumer migration and go-live.
- 04
Reporting, models and non-lift-and-shift workloads
Alchemist is built for data pipelines and macro-driven code. Reporting, models and advanced analytics, and workloads that need redesign rather than a like-for-like conversion, are mostly a rebuild. Alchemist highlights where redesign is recommended, but your team does it.
What do partners ask first?
Licensing, trials and who supports whom. For product questions, the documentation has the detail.
How do partners license Alchemist?
Two ways. A license for your own use covers your teams in your own environments, and lets them analyze any SAS assets there. To run Alchemist in a client's environment, each engagement gets its own contract, and we issue license keys for that environment, used by both your team and the client.
Can we try Alchemist before we partner?
Yes. Register for a free account and run the Code Analyzer on any number of SAS assets, with no time or usage limit. The dashboard reports a token estimate for the scope, its structure and its complexity. The Converter and the full Analyzer detail come with a license.
What is the difference between a delivery and a referral partner?
A delivery partner runs the migration with Alchemist and leads the client engagement. A referral partner introduces a client and steps back; T1A then works with the client directly on the license, the delivery or both. Terms for either are agreed with you when you join.
Who supports our engineers during a migration?
T1A, the team that builds Alchemist and has run SAS migrations with it since 2022. Partners get expert support on the toolkit and, on Full Kit migrations, enablement of the end‑to‑end migration flow. Your team owns the delivery itself: the plan, the client, validation and go-live.
Can a client start self-serve and bring in a partner later?
Yes. The Assessment and Conversion Kits work standalone, and a paid license extends the client's existing Alchemist account. A partner can pick up delivery from the Analyzer results the client already has, without measuring the scope again.
